Doors with very high insulation
"DuoPort" hinged doors have a 45 mm thick insulating hard foam core & thermally separated profiles for particularly high thermal insulation. This door can be opened and closed with two hinged doors that swing outwards.
Large selection of designs / finishes
Novoferm DuoPort swing doors are available in 4 door designs, many surfaces and in almost all modern and end-coated RAL colours, wood effect finishes and satin finishes.
Many equipment extras
The door solution offers many equipment extras for flexible use. For example, an edge bolt to lock the passive leaf, a gas pressure damper to secure the end position or a triple locking mechanism with hinge safety catch.

What are Insulated Side Hinged Doors?
Insulated DuoPort® side hinged doors consist of two doors that open “barn door” style rather than vertically. These doors are available as a 50/50 split with both door leaves of equal size or with an offset configuration. There’s also the choice to have the doors open inwards or outwards. Hosting the same insulation properties as our ISO 45 Sectional doors, our Insulated DuoPort® Side Hinged doors offer you the possibility to use your garage as a utility room, for leisure time or hobbies. You can choose whether to open both doors or just the active door.

Side Hinged doors are particularly suitable for properties that offer sufficient space in front of the garage. If the door leaf opens outwards, there must be sufficient room to manoeuvre. Conversely, if the door leaf opens inwards, the garage interior must be kept clear within the movement radius of the leaf.

The hinged garage doors are insulated and have a 45 mm thick PUR rigid foam core for high thermal insulation.
They therefore not only offer a variable and convenient entrance, but also protect the garage from temperature fluctuations.
THERMALLY SEPARATED PROFILES
No chance for thermal bridges!
This is ensured by slim profiles that are available in many colours and require virtually no maintenance.
THERMALLY SEPARATED BOTTOM RAIL
It reduces the risk of condensation and on-site moisture damage.

3-WAY LOCKING WITH HINGE LOCK
Novoferm swing garage doors can be fitted with a burglar-resistant triple locking system with hinge protection. This provides additional security and ensures that the door cannot be levered out or pushed away.

GAS PRESSURE DAMPER FOR END POSITION LOCKING
The optional gas pressure damper ensures that the swing garage door closes gently and reliably, as well as securing it in the end positions.
The overhead door closer with latching action is a good alternative to securing the door in the end position.
EDGE BOLT FOR LOCKING THE PASSIVE LEAF
The edge bolt is used to lock the passive leaf (top and bottom).
The security-relevant edge bolt can optionally be fitted at the top and/or bottom.
It closes with its locking bolt in a striking plate, which is embedded in the top of the door frame or in the floor.
