Up-and-over doors made of steel with hot-dip galvanised door leaves
Up-and-over garage doors are galvanised and polyester primed. For a harmonious appearance, the frame elements visible from the outside are painted in the door colour - in an attractive colour of your choice.
Up-and-over steel doors
Novoferm up-and-over doors made of hot-dip galvanised sheet metal and a base coat of electrostatic polyester-based stove enamel provide the door with double protection against corrosion. The door leaf frame, block frame, guide rails, lever arms and all components are galvanised. The elements themselves are designed to be harmonious with all externally visible components.
Large selection of designs / colours
With a Novoferm up-and-over door, you have the option of making the door your own with an almost endless number of customisation options. There are multiple rib and raised panel patterns to choose from, as well as up-and-over doors with solid filling. You can choose a multitude of features that include windows, light strips, handles, operators, remote controls and keypads.
Overhead operators / security
All our up-and-over doors feature the latest advanced technologies, all placed inside a modern casing and are available with Novomatic operators, which are mounted on the ceiling. In a special configuration, the door is available in combination with an operator with a 3-point locking system or 4 point locking systems, based on the safe principle for particularly high security.

Novoguard Secured by Design doors are certificated to CS 5051 STS202 standards, that is approved by the ACPO Association of Chief Police Officers. SBD an official security initiative operated by the UK Police Service with the intention of lowering crime while protecting people and businesses. SBD focuses on the improvement of products that include doors, windows, locks and walling systems. Products that receive the ‘Secured by Design’ accreditation are certified as providing the highest levels of security.
Our featured designs include our Retractable Vertical, Horizontal and Berwick designs that includes a 70mm steel fixing frame are available in any size up to and including 2438mm wide x 2134mm high.

Every steel up-and-over door supplied by Novoferm is designed to match your personal taste. In fact, one of the first choices you’ll be asked to make when selecting a solid steel door will be the colour. Traffic white, Jet Black & Anthracite Grey are a popular choice, but it is far from the only options we offer. With 27 colours across our steel door colour range, we give you the option to choose a colour that’s right for you.

If you’re looking to create brighter, more spacious interiors, you’ll want to invest in glazing for your steel up-and-over doors. At Novoferm, we manufacture glazing panels in acrylic glass which are designed to provide illumination throughout.
Horizontal or vertical window cut-outs can be installed in ribbed garage doors, though this is dependent on the type of door. For raised-panel garage doors, you’ll only be able to choose vertical window cut-outs. Please note that all windows are available with either transparent or crystal 3mm acrylic double glazing. Dimensions: approx. 390 x 190 mm

H2 = Minimum Height from floor to underside of ceiling
H3 = Minimum Brickwork Opening Height
H4 = Clear Drive Through Height (Internal Handle is the lowest point)
H5 = How far the door extends into the garage
H6 = Kick Up (The height above the Internal Frame Height the door panel rises during the opening cycle)
R = The Arc of travel of the bottom edge of the door
C = The canopy (How far the door protrudes from the frame front)
