STEEL MATCHING SIDE DOORS
Novoferm steel matching side doors are made of hot-dip galvanised sheet metal and a base coat of electrostatic polyester-based stove enamel that provide the door with double protection against corrosion. The door leaf frame, block frame and all components are galvanised. They are pre framed and come complete with a Euro profile night latch and deadlock with four anti-drop anchored bolt hinges per door leaf. These doors open outwards only, with the lock on the right when viewed from the outside, Left hand opening is also an option.

Novoferm steel matching side doors are available in numerous ribbed or raised panelled designs. The doors can be finished in one of 27 preferred colours from our vast colour range as well as almost any RAL colour of your choice.
Opening Method
Matching Side doors open as per a normal pedestrian door with one door leaf connected by four anti drop anchored bolt hinges at the side to the main door frame. Inward and outward opening options are available on this door type.

Every steel matching side door supplied by Novoferm is designed to match your personal taste. In fact, one of the first choices you’ll be asked to make when selecting a solid steel door will be the colour. Traffic white, Jet Black & Anthracite Grey are a popular choice, but it is far from the only options we offer. With 19 colours across our steel door colour range, we give you the option to choose a colour that’s right for you .
In addition to our colour range, almost all individual RAL colour requests are possible for a small surcharge - with the exception of a few metallic, fluorescent and pearl effect colours and some particularly dark shades. Ask your specialist dealer.

If you’re looking to create brighter, more spacious interiors, you’ll want to invest in glazing for your steel up-and-over doors. At Novoferm, we manufacture glazing panels in acrylic glass which are designed to provide illumination throughout.
Horizontal or vertical window cut-outs can be installed in ribbed garage doors, though this is dependent on the type of door. For raised-panel garage doors, you’ll only be able to choose vertical window cut-outs. Please note that all windows are available with either transparent or crystal 3mm acrylic double glazing. Thumb Turn Cylinder
A thumb-turn cylinder locking mechanism is also available as an additional accessory across the Steel Side Hinged door range
Thumb-turn locks are a security solution for end users who can lock or unlock their doors without needing a key. With a key required to lock the door from the exterior, the thumb-turn lock on the interior provides health & safety benefits as well as offering an increase in convenience for the end user. An example of this would be in an emergency such as a fire; there is no need to worry & waste valuable time trying to locate your keys, with the thumb-turn offering a quick, key-free exit.
The thumb-turn is available in brushed silver, matching the handle. However, if an order is placed with a black handle, the thumb-turn itself will still be the brushed silver finish, with only the escutcheon matching the black handle.
