If you’re looking to create brighter, more spacious interiors, you’ll want to invest in glazing for your steel up-and-over doors. At Novoferm, we manufacture glazing panels in acrylic glass which are designed to provide illumination throughout.

Horizontal or vertical window cut-outs can be installed in ribbed garage doors, though this is dependent on the type of door. For raised-panel garage doors, you’ll only be able to choose vertical window cut-outs. Please note that all windows are available with either transparent or crystal 3mm acrylic double glazing. Sturdy & Rigid 

The Novoferm GRP door incorporates a solid steel ‘goalpost’ frame as well as timber elements too. Because our doors don’t utilise a frame made entirely of wood, you can say goodbye to having to deal with the frame rotting and weakening. The frame is fully encapsulated within the structure of the door and finished to a high standard.

Outstanding Finishes - To ensure that any wood effects are perfectly replicated, great care and attention are spent reproducing this wonderful natural aesthetic by hand, applying the wood tone finish to the doors. We apply an additional smooth gel flow coat to the back of every GRP. The top, side, and bottom edges are finished with a matching colour or wood stain effect for improved appearance that matches the durability and strength of these doors.

Quality Construction - When you purchase a Novoferm GRP door, you’ll be purchasing a door that comes with an official seal of quality. Our seal of quality constitutes a warranty, and for our GRP doors, a ten-year warranty is provided as standard. These doors come with either a spring-assisted canopy or retractable action for smooth running. The width of the canopy frame will depend on the type selected with canopy frames measuring 54mm and retractable frames measuring 70mm. Hand-crafted panels encased in strong a strong steel chassis are added to the doors to complete the overall construction. All doors come with a black “D” handle as standard.

Convenient Operation - Our doors can be supplied as manually operated or, if you prefer, we can fully automate your Novoferm GRP doors. If you choose the latter, we’ll supply you with the remote control system Novomatic 443 or Novomatic 573 which comes with built-in energy-saving functions. You’ll enjoy the benefits of opening and closing your door without stepping out into the cold and rain. Best of all is that you won’t have to contend with expensive energy bills.

Safety and Security

At Novoferm, safety and security are our two top priorities, and so all our doors are manufactured accordingly. Doors with canopy frames feature high-security twin-shoot bolts, and retractable doors come with a four-point retention system as standard. The smooth operation of these doors ensures that they are safe to use. Finally, all our GRP doors have been certified to a high standard and perform in line with European Standard EN 12341-1.

Quick and Easy to Install

The beauty of our Novoferm GRP doors is that they are quick and easy to install. They can be supplied with a pre-hung factory-finished steel fixing frame. Not only does this eliminate the need to use a timber frame, but it also cuts down the amount of time it takes to complete the installation.
