NOVOGATE is manufactured using Magnelis® steel as standard. This revolutionary material offers an industry leading level of corrosion resistance, meaning a 10 year warranty applies in most locations when supported with basic maintenance. Finished in a smooth Polyester Powder Coating in a choice of colours, NOVOGATE is a practical and cost effective solution, offering a long lifespan and attractive appearance.
NOVOGATE is ideal for any application requiring a secure, long lasting and stylish solution such as front or rear garden paths, entrances, access points and driveways with a suitable structure to either side. The hard wearing and low maintenance properties of NOVOGATE means that they’re particularly beneficial for installations where upkeep needs to be kept to a minimum, for example social housing; student accommodation; rented properties, or retirement, assisted or shared living accommodation. We can also manufacture double gates for larger and more open areas.

STANDARD COLOUR
Every Novogate supplied by Novoferm is designed to match your personal taste. In fact, one of the first choices you’ll be asked to make when selecting a solid steel door will be the colour. Traffic white, Jet Black & Anthracite Grey are a popular choice, but it is far from the only options we offer. With 19 colours across our steel door colour range, we give you the option to choose a colour that’s right for you .
In addition to our colour range, almost all individual RAL colour requests are possible for a small surcharge - with the exception of a few metallic, fluorescent and pearl effect colours and some particularly dark shades. Ask your specialist dealer.
Hardware Choices And Sizing
HARDWARE CHOICES
1200mm high will be supplied with a gate latch as standard, with a mortice lock for gates over 1200mm. We offer a choice of either matt black or stainless steel hardware to suit your preferences, and this covers all aspects – handles, latches, escutcheons and hinges. Two sided F frames with capped jambs and no frame head provided as standard.
SIZES
NOVOGATE is available in made to measure sizing. We can also manufacture gates to custom sizes on request to ensure the perfect fit (extended lead time applies).

What is Magenlis®?
Magnelis® is a game changer in the world of metallic coating, offering unparalleled corrosion protection. It is manufactured using a continues hot-dip galvanised process, where it is immersed in a unique molten bath composed of zinc, 3.5% aluminium and 3% magnesium, giving its distinctive chemical properties. This metallic coating forms a very dense, stable, and durable layer of protection, which prevents the underlying steel from encountering the ambient environment. It therefore gives all shaped steel the same level of protection as flat surfaces. By comparing Magnelis® alongside galvanised steel, from our 1000- hour salt spray test, the results clearly exposed that Magnelis® resists corrosion for much longer than standard galvanised products, which is reflected in our unrivalled 10-year anti-corrosion warranty.

Corrosion Protection Mechanism
The specific composition of Magnelis® (3% Mg and 3.5% Al) is crucial as it leads to the formation of a very dense, stable and durable layer of protection. The compact layer of Magnelis® acts as a barrier to corrosion, preventing the underlying steel from coming into contact with the ambient environment. The result is highly effective corrosion protection, even in the harshest environments.
Magnelis® will even form a dense layer on highly deformed zones. This gives deformed steel shapes the same protection as flat surfaces. This is a key advantage of Magnelis® compared to other metallic coatings.
