What are the minimum and maximum widths and heights of a Novoferm Sectional garage doors?

Minimum and maximum sizes across our sectional garage door range differ depending on door design and insulation type (ISO 20 or ISO 45). Please view our price guide for further information. 

What is the insulation thickness of Novoferm Sectional garage doors?

Novoferm Sectional garage doors are available in two types of insulation thickness. The ISO 20 sectional garage door has a 20mm insulation thickness. The ISO 45 sectional garage doors has a 45mm insulation thickness.

What material are the sectional garage door panels?

Novoferm sectional garage door panels are manufactured from high-quality, galvanised steel with a durable surface finish. All feature a foam-filled insulated core, providing strength, thermal efficiency and long-lasting protection.

Can Novoferm Sectional garage doors be manual or are they automated as standard?

Novoferm sectional garage doors can be supplied either as manual or automated, depending on the specification.

They are not automated as standard. The door can be supplied as a high-quality manual sectional door competing against traditional manual up and over doors, but also have the option to add a compatible Novoferm operator if automation is required, this is usually the preferred option.

Many existing manual sectional doors can also be upgraded to electric operation later, provided the correct compatibility and safety features are in place

Can Sectional garage doors help reduce energy costs?

Yes. The insulated door panels and perimeter seals help maintain a more stable temperature within the garage due to insulation properties and thermal efficiency, making them ideal for garages attached to the home or used as workspaces keeping them cool in the summer months and keeping the extra heat trapped throughout the winter months.
