Door Structure

The connection between the sections of a Thermo 40/60/ 80 door is wind & watertight. This is ensured by Kompriband, a foam sealing tape that is applied between the panels.

Novoferm uses this frame for doors with a dark-coloured paint finish and from a certain door size. Sunlight causes the door to expand and can hit the centre of the lintel; the heavy corner frame prevents this.

To increase wind resistance and to fulfil all regulations and standards regarding high wind loads, doors are fitted with reinforcement profiles depending on their width.

A rubber profile with an inwardly curved sealing lip is used to seal the floor of the door. The rubber profiles are mounted using a special plastic profile. The sealing lip of the rubber profile fits closely to the frame seal.

The connection of the door leaf to the vertical tracks by means of a standard corner frame ensures a stable and good seal between the door side and the building.

A double rubber profile with an inwardly curved sealing lip is used to optimise the floor seal of the door. The rubber profiles are mounted using a special plastic profile with low thermal conductivity. The sealing lip of the rubber profile fits closely to the frame seal.

Thermo 40

The Thermo 40 sectional door is the best-selling Novoferm industrial sectional door. The door combines excellent thermal and sound insulation properties with micro-profiled panels in a modern design. The design and configuration options are limitless, so that a door can always be perfectly configured for any situation.

Choose from numerous options for light and vision panels, heights and widths and a palette of 15 RAL colours as standard.

CORE OBJECTIVE FLEXIBILITY

Thermo 40 sectional doors are designed and manufactured using state-of-the-art technologies. The finishing is designed for high load-bearing capacity and thought through down to the last detail. This is clearly evident in the metal end caps, the reinforcement profiles and the underside of the anodised aluminium bottom profile, which is not visible from the outside. Flexibility is of central importance in the production of this door.

It is a genuine all-round model in which price, performance and application possibilities interact perfectly.

Details Thermo 60 sectional door

Thermo 60

Thermo 60 sectional doors are particularly good heat-insulating and sealing doors that are ideal for areas where the separation between temperature zones is important. If you want to keep your production hall or warehouse at an even temperature level, then the Thermo 60 is just right for you.

The micro-profiled sheet steel panels have excellent sound-insulating and heat-insulating properties and are extremely weather-resistant.

PARTICULARLY HIGH THERMAL INSULATION VALUE

The panels of the Thermo 60 sectional doors are manufactured according to the so-called "sandwich principle". Rigid polyurethane foam is inserted between two steel sheets and bonded to the galvanised steel sheet on both sides. If you have special colour requirements, the sheet steel can be coated with acrylate paint in a RAL colour of your choice.

Details Thermo 80 sectional door

Thermo 80

Nowadays, every building must be well insulated. It must comply with current standards. This also applies to external doors and gates. The panels of the Thermo 80 door are also foamed with polyurethane and thermally separated between the inner and outer shells, but have even better thermal insulation than the doors in the Thermo 40 or 60 series.

DOUBLE-WALLED SECTIONAL DOORS WITH THERMALLY BROKEN STEEL PANELS

With its optimum thermal insulation and a U-value of 0.25 W/m2K, the Thermo 80 fulfils the needs of clients who place particular emphasis on energy efficiency. This makes this door ideal for cold storage and deep-freeze halls, industrial halls, warehouses and distribution centres where heat loss must be avoided and where a certain temperature of the goods must be maintained.

The Thermo 80 sectional door is available in 3 standard colours.
