SpeedRoller NovoZip

The self-repairing NovoZip high speed door is the ideal solution for fast and frequently used passages. The self-lubricating rails in particular contribute to this. The self-repairing opperation reduces interruptions and guarantees a minimal delay in your production process. The NovoZip is intended as a fast, user-friendly partitioning of spaces and provides energy saving, draught exclusion and climate control. The result is significant energy savings with NovoZip installed.

SpeedRoller NovoZip: the details

Components and construction

Components and construction
The NovoZip has a 900 g/m², class M2 door curtain made of a polyester-reinforced synthetic material, with a flexible rubber sealing profile at the bottom. The steel columns with a zipper closure ensure the guidance of the door curtain. These form one taut unit with the top brackets for the fastening of the roller and protective hood.

Materials
The guides and roller are made of galvanised steel. The PVC door curtain has a polyester reinforcement inlay. The FlexEdge bottom beam is made of PVC. The protective hood is available in galvanized steel with a powder coating or optionally in stainless steel. All PVC parts can be recycled.

Colours
The door curtain is available in 9 colours. The door curtain can be provided with transparent windows (option). The steel guides and top cover have a white (RAL-9016) or grey (RAL-7011) powdercoating as standard, but your choise of RAL-colour is also available as an option¹.

The drive consists of an electric motor with reduction unit, mounted at the side of the roller. Drive side available left or right (standard).

• Safety light curtain and to max. height 2500 mm. If this curtain is interrupted by an obstacle the door will automatically fully open until the screen is freed again. This does not apply to the door in closed position.

the control box usualy is fitted on the drive side, at a height of approx. 1,500 mm from the floor
with standard CEE-plug, the control box is IP54 compliant

The control unit has 3 buttons (open-stop-close) and a CEE plug, and regulates a multitude of functions such as:

adjustable open time or so called 'Dead man control
LED display for control of the various functions
permanently open or permanently shut
service and run mode

Depending on the size and application of the door you can choose between two types of control:
GFA TS971
GFA TS981

Additional controls that can be connected to the control box are:
push-button, pull switch, key-operated switch, photocell, radar, induction loop detection or radio control.

Developed for retail

Supermarkets even have to look "super" nowadays, with merchandise displayed attractively and appetizingly. NovoSpeed Retail completes the overall appearance. This rapid roll door is not just one of the fastest of its kind, with a speed of 2 m/s; it also opens and closes without making virtually any noise. Added to which, its plastic cover makes NovoSpeed Retail look really good as well.

NovoSpeed Retail: the details

The best solution for your business!

The tubular motor – which is even included in the standard model – ensures an elegant appearance while reducing the space requirement. You can even personalize the curtain with your logo or any other print motif of your choice.
Safety is, of course, a huge consideration in premises such as supermarkets with their high volumes of customer traffic. The standard NovoSpeed Retail model has a Flex Edge bottom beam and can be supplied with mechanical or automatic emergency unlocking to ensure safety even if the power fails.

If your merchandise is fragile

No damage if collisions occur

Soft, flexible bottom beam
If passages are relatively low, you cannot always avoid contact between the bottom beam and the merchandise in transit when the door is closing. A hard bottom beam could well cause damage.

The "Flex Edge" bottom beam is flexible and soft, thus enhancing security. Any accidental human or other contact with the Flex Edge will therefore result in little or no damage.

The equipment used to monitor the clear opening of the door is the same as fitted on the Hard Edge model.

Suitable for use virtually anywhere
NovoSpeed Flex is an interior door for universal use in industrial applications. The door is fast and strikingly quiet. The drive is integrated in the drum, keeping the space requirement at the side to a minimum. The advanced controller is equipped with frequency control and offers numerous functions and connection options.

Monitored opening
Models up to 2500 mm high include a standard light curtain. When the door is open, the light curtain detects objects that are either stationary or passing through the opening, and prevents the door from closing.

NovoSpeed Heavy Indoor is an electrically operated rapid roll door that was designed specifically for use inside industrial buildings.

The workhorse for larger opening dimensions
NovoSpeed Heavy Indoor was designed specifically for larger opening dimensions – up to 36 m² – indoors. All parts of the design, including the curtain, are therefore particularly sturdy. Over- and underpressure can exert considerable force on the curtain. With its 1.2 mm curtain and aluminium strengthening profiles, the door can withstand max. wind pressure of 5 Beaufort.

Curtain is channelled through particularly heavy guides made of folded sheet steel fitted with brushes
A bottom beam with self-testing closing edge guard and cast aluminium end pieces is standard
