Meet Daniel Kirkland:
Novoferm UK Commercial Director
Novoferm UK, expands its leadership team with the appointment of Daniel Kirkland as the new Commercial Director. Daniel brings with him over 13 years of experience within the manufacturing industry.
We caught up with him to learn more about his background, how does he feel about Novoferm and find out more about him as a person.
Q: Daniel, can you tell us about your background and the reasons that led you to join Novoferm?
Over the past 13 years, I've built my career within the manufacturing industry, starting out in a technical role, creating tooling, supporting customers, and bringing products to life through CAD design. That hands-on experience gave me a solid foundation in understanding both product and customer needs.
From there, my journey evolved through a variety of commercial and operational roles such as:
Contracts Supervisor – overseeing installations and delivering bespoke solutions on-site
Area Sales Manager – managing key accounts across the North of England and driving new business
Senior Projects Manager – steering complex, high-value projects from concept through to delivery
Head of Operations – responsible for full site operations and performance
These experiences have given me a rounded view of how a manufacturing business succeeds and how to drive change, growth, and customer satisfaction from all angles.
Q: How do you feel about joining Novoferm UK?
Joining Novoferm is incredibly exciting. The business has faced its share of challenges, but its ability to adapt, innovate, and keep moving forward is impressive. I’m proud to be part of a team that’s committed to delivering an ambitious strategy and I’m looking forward to strengthening key partnerships, driving new opportunities, and playing a part in the next chapter of Novoferm’s growth journey.

Q: How do you enjoy spending your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m a proud dad of three, most weekends spent cheering from the sidelines as my two lads play football. I’m a big sports fan (a former rugby player turned passionate spectator) and a long-suffering but loyal Coventry City FC supporter, especially when there's a pint and good company involved.
