Meet Andrew Lancaster:
Specification & Business Development Manager
Novoferm UK appoints Andrew Dancaster as their new Specification & Business Development Manager. He brings with him over 35 years of experience in the UK construction industry, providing products, solutions, and technical support to architects, clients, and contractors.
Andrew’s extensive experience in the construction industry highlights the diverse opportunities and personal satisfaction one can find while working with both UK and global manufacturers.
We caught up with him to learn more about his background, how does he feel about Novoferm and find out more about him as a person.
Q: Andrew, can you tell us about your background?
“I have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic companies here in the UK and across Europe, and beyond, but always with very similar 'customers'. I have worked with manufacturers providing roofing systems, roof lights, ventilated facades, bricks and interior flooring, but essentially the job remains the same. Whatever the product, or whoever you work for, its still very much a people business.”
Q: How do you feel about joining Novoferm UK?
“I am excited to be joining the Novoferm Group, particularly at a time of change with significant investment in people and resources. The opportunity to help create a real demand for the products and services offered across all the brands within the group, is certainly going to be a challenge, but one I look forward to meeting. “
Q: How do you enjoy spending your time outside of work?
“When I'm not working, I spend my time at my local rugby club, sometimes coaching, sometimes refereeing, and if time permits, I still try to keep my parachute instructors 'C' licence up to date.”
