Introducing Lee-Ann Edwards

I joined Novoferm back in August 2015, working for Garage Door Sale as a Sales Administrator. At the time, Garage Door Sale was the online side of the business that supplies garage doors directly to end users for DIY installation. I had no experience in sales and for the first couple of weeks, I questioned myself why I left my previous employment. However, I persevered and realised that I actually had a real passion for selling garage doors, with no day being the same, and even now, after eight years, I am still learning more about our products. I love the reaction I get when someone asks me what I do; they can’t believe I sell garage doors. I can remember the first time I walked through the factory, I couldn’t get the ‘How It’s Made’ theme music out of my head, I was so amazed. On my journey, my progression, development & passion grew with taking up many roles along the way, such as Branch & Installation Manager, Online Sales Manager & in August 2022, I sought a new challenge by working as a Customer Service Team Leader. Very early into this role, I realised this was where I belonged. I loved dealing with trades people, the customer service side, building and developing existing and new relationships with our customers and of course, still selling garage doors.

In April 2023, a Regional Sales Manager role for the South was advertised for Novoferm due to an internal promotion. I was so excited when I found out I was selected for the position doing the above but on the road.

Exciting Fact - I am the first female Regional Sales Manager for Novoferm.

Throughout my time within the Novoferm group, I have always been encouraged and supported to push myself to progress and grow both as a person and within the business. It is so lovely to work for a company that creates so many varied opportunities. I have positively witnessed Novoferm UK change, and I believe Novoferm will continue to change to become the trade supplier of choice. I can honestly say that I am proud to be a part of Novoferm UK’s continued development within the industry.
