Construction & Composition

Novoferm security doors are DIN-tested to classes WK2 and WK3. This means security technology with protection of all areas that offenders can lay a lever on:

On the door opening side: The security lock system has up to fourfold locking with a turning bolt lock at the top as well as the bottom and a drill protected profile cylinder according to DIN V 18254 BS together with a light metal security knoblever set according to DIN 18257 ES2 ZA, reinforced with steel plates

On the door stop side: closely fitting, locked door leaf, with no point that can be levered out. Two special hinges are used, adjustable in three dimensions for exact fitment during installation. According to the door type, either 3 or 5 securing pins are used on the hinge side.

The door leaf: extra strong due to the stability of steel with a door thickness or either 40, 50 or 52 mm, rebated on three sides with a drill-protected profile cylinder, DINtested. A security card guards against misuse when replacement keys are made. Additional upper door closer. The door surface is made of up to 1.0 mm thick galvanized steel sheet, powder-coat primed with a bottom section with U-profile or not-lowerable bottom seal. The frame and anchoring are absolutely tight and firm – nothing can break out. The door frame and counter frame, as desired, are each 2.0mm thick, galvanized and primed with 3- or 4-sided circumferential seal. The set is anchored with six firmly welded-on wall plug anchors

Depending on what they are to be used for exclusive security doors come as KES6, ES-5 or two-leaf E-S10, as E-S7 or, for example, as ES9 with 5 securing pins on the hinge side and fourfold locking system. Choose exactly the degree of security and attractive surface design that you want.

The KE-S6 meets the growing need for security in domestic and business areas. With multi-point locking, 2 securing pins, 2 three-part hinges with pin retention and sixfold anchored frame, it offers a high degree of security and its slim appearance also makes it an ideal security door inareas with refined aesthetic tastes.

Novoferm offers you economic protection with the security doors E-S5and E-S10. E-S5 means fivefold locking: three securing pins on the hinge side and double latching lock, with drill protected profile cylinder and light metal security knob-lever set. A secure burglar-resistant door withstanding class WK2.E-S 5. Uses of the door are varied: As a connection to the workshop or the office – from the stores to the inner courtyard or as an entrance to the main hall.

If a single leaf security door is not sufficient for the room you need simply choose the Novoferm security door E-S10. The ES-10 is comparable with the E-S5 – only “doubled” – with a total of six securing pins on the hinge side of the active and inactive leaves. The E-S10 also corresponds to class WK2. The design of the door leaf is the same for both door models – with a galvanized (powder coated) surface, white similar to RAL 9016.

Doors withstanding class WK3 – in comparison with WK2 – withstand even higher loadings. With the Novoferm security doors E-S7 and E-S9 this means even more protection for you. The E-S7, according to DIN V ENV 1627 WK3, offers sevenfold security. Two more securing pins are added to this security door on the hinge side.
