With a wide range of uses, the MZ-1 multi purpose door is ideal for private, commercial or industrial buildings. It is suitable for internal or external use, can be hinged to the left or right and, with individual fitting options, it offers a high degree of flexibility.
Components & Construction
MZ-1 is supplied as a door unit with a door leaf and frame, and can also be supplied with a window opening with wired or insulated wired ornamental glazing. The double skinned door is made of hot galvanised steel with an electrostatic powder-coating based on polyester in colour similar to RAL 9016. It is hung with 2 x 3 part hinges; two securing pins on the side of the hinges prevent it being lifted out when closed. The internal circumference flat steel strengthening ensures a high degree of resistance to distortion; the insulating rock wool filling guarantees extremely low heat and sound transmission. The corner frame in traffic white with the welded wall plug anchors consists of 2mm thick galvanised steel sheet and is also protected from corrosion by the powder coating. The high quality EPDM rubber seal running around all four sides ensures excellent closing dampening with an extremely low closing pressure. The standard version is supplied with a black round lever handle set with a steel core. The profile cylinder mortice lock contains a single tumbler lock insert with key.
Multi-Purpose Door - Robusta
Supplied in seven standard sizes, the Robusta multipurpose door is a good alternative option for standard applications. The 40 mm thick door made of hot-galvanized steel sheet and rebated on three sides has a 14 mm thick rebate. The door leaf is also primed with an environmentally-friendly powder coating in standard white (similar to RAL 9016) and provided with an insulation filling (UT = 1.8 W/m2K), acoustic insulation value RWP = 25 dB. Two three-part hinges V 8026 are screwed into the door leaf. A black round lever handle set with a profile cylinder insertion lever/fixed lock, prepared for the customer to use a profile cylinder, form part of the basic fittings. The 2 mm thick, right/left corner frame is hot-galvanized and also electrostatically primed. It is equipped with four V 8610 hinge assemblies and sealing running around three sides.
